G5453D3 Luftwaffe Breast Eagle for EM and NCO's

The Luftwaffe national emblem was worn above the right breast pocket by all ranks. It consists of an eagle in flight clutching a swastika in one foot.

This national emblem is an excellent example of the standard pattern worn by enlisted personnel and non-commissioned officers. It is machine embroidered in silver gray thread on Luftwaffe blue gray wool. It has a black cotton backing as was used on earlier high quality examples.

This eagle would be difficult to upgrade. There is a small smudge to the upper right wing and some nap damage. Neither detracts.
