G92457D2 Conscript Laborer's Armband

G92457D2 Conscript Laborer's Armband

This rare armband was worn by foreign laborers conscripted for service with the RAD or Org Todt.

This armband is not to be confused with the "Non-Member of the Armed Forces" black machine woven eagle on golden yellow armband. It has an NSDAP pattern eagle printed in black on a lemon yellow cotton armband. I have had 3 of these and in all 3 cases, cases, the printing was somewhat light.

I purchased this one from a local U.S. Military collector who obtained it from a veteran.

The armband is hemmed and the ends sewn together with white thread. It is in excellent condition with no damage and only minor soiling.
