U08997t1 WWII U.S.M.C. (Ka-Bar) Fighting / Utility Knife by Camillus

This is a WWII Marine Corps Ka-Bar as produced by Camillus with its leather sheath in overall excellent condition.

This is a later example with a pinned pommel, but not the late war version which is guard marked. The blued blade is marked "U.S.M.C." on one side and "CAMILLUS" on the other side. The handle is composed entirely of leather washers. The washers are tight and intact, but do show some age. Bluing on the blade is about 60%. The blade has some corrosion pits and a few nicks to the edge, however, the blade has experienced only minimal (if any) sharpening.

The sheath is all leather, being the stapled version. It is unmarked, as is proper for Camillus produced Ka-Bars. The sheath is solid, but shows typical age and wear. The snap works fine.
