U3040/10 Montana National Guard

This is the patch worn by the Montana National Guard.  Montana may be translated as mountain in Spanish.  Hence the depiction of a mountain on the patch.  This design was instituted in 1952.

This example in mint condition. It is a merrowed edge patch, so it is from 1973 or after.

I found several of these at a military surplus shop while on vacation in British Columbia.
