U3051-0(C) Armed Forces Reserve Medal, National Guard

U3051-0(C) Armed Forces Reserve Medal, National Guard

This medal was established in the early 1950’s for personnel with 10 years service in the National Guard.

The light blue and buff ribbon and the obverse are the same for all services, but the reverse reflects what branch of service the recipient belongs to, in this case the National Guard seal appears.

I obtained this medal in a large militaria collection I purchased in 2002 / 2003.

This medal is in very good condition. There is some overall light age. The reverse of the ribbon has a little of what looks to be glue on it. Will pribably come out.

It has an unmarked crimp brooch.
