U3055D1(C) U. S. Navy Good Conduct Medal, Post WWII Style

U3055D1(C) U. S. Navy Good Conduct Medal, Post WWII Style

The Navy Good Conduct Medal was authorized in 1869.  This pattern was instituted after WWII.  The round pendant has a side view of the USS Constitution in the center along with an anchor surrounded by a rope and a chain.  It is suspended from a maroon ribbon.

This medal in excellent condition with a few minor scratches on the reverse side.

I obtained this medal in a large militaria collection I purchased in 2002 / 2003.

It has a crimp brooch marked "LI - GI".
